Jordan’s King Vows to ‘Stop the Judaization’ of Temple Mount

His Majesty King Abdullah II on Saturday proudly announces before an assembly of local newspaper editors and journalists, saying “he spared no occasion to put the Palestinian cause and defend Jerusalem before the world,” according to the Petra state news agency, adding, “There is no voice that speaks better than Jordan as we carry out our historic political and legal role to stop the Judaization of holy sites despite the difficulties and challenges.”

Dr. Mordechai Kedar, Scholar of Arabic, Islam and Middle East Issues, states: ‘the Al Aqsa Mosque of the Quran is not based in Jerusalem” Dr. Kedar says: “liars need to have good memories.” “The reason is obvious, they must remember their own lies, and to whom they told them to, to avoid contradiction”.

Jerusalem is not a holy site for the Muslims, it only became holy to them fifty years after Muhammad’s death. They simply chose Jerusalem to move their Al Aqsa Mosque to, after a conflict between Abd Allah Ibn al-Zubayr and Umayyads, who at the time ruled Damascus and did not allow them into Mecca.

Once they chose Jerusalem in 682 CE, they rewrote their history into the Koran and even included the myth of Muhamad’s night time visit to Al Aqsa.

Besides there being so many archeological facts to back up the strong Jewish connection to Temple Mount, Jewish history has always been based in Israel. How can you stop “Judaization” of something so Jewish? We had two Temples built on that so Holy Site, the first one built by King Solomon 3,000 years ago, in 957 BCE, before Muhammad in 692 CE.

The first Temple was destroyed by the Babylonians and was rebuilt on the exact same site by Jews returning from exile. King Herod restyled it into an construction of great splendor, but again it was destroyed, this time by the Roman Empire.

As it is written in the Old Testament and in the New Testament, both Jewish Temples stood at the Temple Mount, with archaeological evidence identifying Solomon’s Temple at the area of the Temple Mount.

Your Majesty King Abdullah II, how are you going to stop the Judaization of the Temple Mount, by making up more lies? Inciting more hatred and terror? I hope not.

King Abdullah you were our peace partner, we signed a peace treaty with you in 1994. We kept our end of the bargain, Israel provides your country with 13 billion gallons of fresh water from our river Kinneret every year.  More than 200,000 Israelis vacation in Jordan, in fact, I was considering it myself only the other day.  Doesn’t this help your starved economy with our foreign currency?

And there is more…. Jordan is expected to receive natural gas at a low rock bottom cost from Israel’s Tamar and Leviathan offshore fields. Your country’s unemployment has been soaring by at least 30% mainly among your youth. Many Israelis have established many business industries in your country. Why are you stabbing us in the back now?

The Temple Mount is known to the Jews as the Holy of Holies, according to Rabbinical law, some aspect of the divine presence is still present at the site.
